Job Application Tracker Privacy
Job listings, notes, stages, deadlines, checklists, analytics, imports, and exports stay in the user's Chrome profile. No tracker data is transmitted.
When the user activates Pro, only the extension identifier, license key, locally generated instance name, and server-issued instance ID needed for entitlement operations are sent in POST JSON bodies to CodingFrontend. Keys are masked in the interface and never placed in URLs.
CodingFrontend owns checkout and payment-provider integration. The extension never handles card data or calls checkout directly.
The extension contains no telemetry, advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party tracking.
Local tracker data remains until the user deletes it or clears the browser profile. The extension provides a JSON backup and an explicit erase action.
Licensing
For Pro activation, the license key and a user-readable browser instance name are sent over HTTPS to CodingFrontend and Dodo Payments. The CodingFrontend database stores a keyed hash of the license key, the Dodo instance ID, product association, and validation timestamps—not the raw key.
Payments
Checkout is hosted by Dodo Payments. CodingFrontend never embeds payment credentials in the extension and does not treat the checkout return page as proof of purchase.
